Flight time calculator
Two tools in one: time, speed and distance for a leg, and the time between two clock times in hours and logbook tenths.

How it's calculated
- Time = distance ÷ groundspeed. 120 nautical miles at 100 knots is 1.2 hours, or 1 hour 12 minutes.
- Groundspeed = distance ÷ time, and distance = groundspeed × time.
- Use groundspeed, not airspeed: the wind changes how long the leg takes. The E6B wind calculator gives groundspeed for a course and wind.
The logbook part counts the minutes between two times, across midnight if needed, and rounds to tenths of an hour (6 minutes each), the way most pilots log. Some schools round differently; follow your school's rule.
